Design Goals

01. Visual Hierarchy

Improve visual elements and have consistency on app flow.

02. Clear Structure

Rearrange app’s provided information structure and make it easy for users to navigate while using the app.

03. Add necessary features

Accessible live chat with agents and help center.

Adding countdown functionality could make the user motivated on the app to keep track of the upcoming trips and spend more time.

Problems

Inconsistent UI

Choice of color palate makes it confusing for users to explore their itineraries and arrangements of information listed is overwhelming.App lacks visual hierarchy and there is also unnecessary inconsistency and some screens feel more modern some out of date .

Misleading

Amount of screens the users need to go through in order to reach customer service is long process. The app encourages something they don’t actually provide by showing message icon on the help center menu which can be misleading for users.  It can be irritating to have to submit your concerns and questions rather than actually actually talking with live chat agent.

Offering both light and dark mode can increase accessibility for users who may have difficulty with the default light mode. Some users may prefer a darker interface, particularly if they are sensitive to bright light or have visual impairments.

Users have different preferences when it comes to app design. Some users may prefer the traditional light mode while others may prefer the newer dark mode. Providing both options allows users to choose their preferred mode and have a more personalized experience with the app.
